Balşa, HD, part 1

I'm not gonna say much about this, simply because words cannot express the way I feel every time when I go back to the village where my grandfathers lived. I tried to capture a small bit in the pictures below and in the other parts that will follow this one, but regardless the apparently small area, there's a picture to take at every step and there's much to see. I promised myself that I'll dedicate an entire week sometimes just to take pictures, but till now it never happened, I only had a day or two... Bottom line is that anyone with a green heart will love this village and I recommend anyone nearby to try to visit it. It's not that remote, but its peaceful,  quiet and calm.

Grip Trip

Until early January this year, I've been looking for a Canon battery grip for my 350D (Rebel XT) and after almost two years (don't think that I was online everyday and searching, maybe once a month) I finally found a great offer from someone in Cluj Napoca. Because I didn't trust the website I found it on, I contacted the seller and agreed to meet. Under 24 hours it was mine. So for around 83 Euros I got the original Canon battery grip BG-E3 with the battery magazine BGM-E3L and the BGM-E3A, two CTA replace battery pack (1000mA, not like the original 720mA) and one charger with a car adapter also. I'd say I made a pretty good deal although nothing was new, but looks like brand new. I didn't had much time to spend in Cluj Napoca and, on the way back to the bus station, I took some pictures, nothing special, just to try out my new grip :)

The battery grip works perfect and it changes my 350D completely! It's so much easier to work with it in portrait position and even in normal orientation it's easier to hold to. I recommend anyone who owns a DSLR to get one. My favorite shop it this one!

relics...

Digging though some old folders on my PC, I found some picture of the old Custozza Park which now looks like after a nuclear bomb landed there... If ten months ago this park had well over one hundred trees, it now has only around 15 trees. This massacre was made so our city can have a square just like Sibiu has, except the fact that Sibiu always had it and we didn't! And it will not be a square, it's gonna be a parking lot!... I'm not going further with this subject, it will only pis me off even more... Well... below you can see a few pictures that can never be taken again and if I knew that it will come to this, I would've take more pictures here.. but not even in my worst nightmare never thought that it will come to this... Enjoy what's left...

x-mas 3

 Although Christmas has already passed, presents were unwrapped and we're all on recovery mode after New Year's Party, I thought to share with the world my X-mas tree! So what do you think? :)
